Martin DeWitt makes available
My Duluth prints to benefit Duluth and regional flood victims!

Picture

Martin DeWitt, My Duluth, 5-color screenprint, limited edition 28/40, 1986
22 x 16 inches, signed and framed under glass

My Duluth was one of Martin’s first paintings he created upon arriving in the Zenith City in 1986, commenting, “Duluth was a visual feast - the big water...striking skyscape, panoramic light shows, arced horizon…heavy metal int'l seaport. The experience was intense, and so spectacular! Though a tiny ten by five inches, the intent of the original "My Duluth" painting was to capture a big presence, the process and idea became the catalyst for me to create a new body of work over the years in response to Lake Superior, Duluth’s dramatic landscape and color driven environment...endless possibilities."
To share this work to a wider audience, and to benefit  victims of Duluth's devastating 2012 flood,
Martin's My Duluth painting, which today remains in a private collection,
is now available in this original 5-color very limited edition screenprint process, published by
George Farbotko Master Printer, Rockford, Illinois.

Only ten of the original edition of forty 5-color screenprints remain and are available for purchase for $750 each, framed and under glass ready to display ($600 unframed).
In collaboration with United Way of Greater Duluth, 50% of the print sale proceeds of the ten remaining prints will benefit  Duluth flood victims whose challenge of recovery remains one year later.
